The hotels we are staying at have amazing prefab bathrooms and generally really tiny rooms with incredible use of space. Although a bath is aparently possible, i thought it best not to tempt fate and get stuck in there. You can see the size comparefd to the toilet.

While the rest of the gang went on the philosopher's walk, I got trapped in Kyoto station shopping mall. I had a massage, discovered the most amazing food hall with $100 dollar melons, bought some toe socks, marvelled at the teeny clothes and rode up and down the escalators in this most amazing building by Hiroshi Hara.
